TRU Youth Athletic Training

The goal of training is to improve individual's overall performance within their sport using functional training and sport specific drills to maximize their overall potential as an athlete. 


TRU Sports believes kids should be involved in multiple sports throughout the year. In our program, youth athletes will learn about and train for several sports.

Agility sessions will vary depending on the sport that you play, with movement patterns specified to your individual needs. Using ladders, cones, and hurdles our coaches will help improve your overall coordination and agility.

Speed sessions will help focus on exactly the type of speed you need. Coaches will work with you to improve and correct running form to ensure that you are primed to succeed.

A core component of improving speed over time is improving strength. Coaches will design strength phases to your program to directly target the muscles most necessary to continue getting faster.
